Your Mental Peak Performance Coach and Sports Hypnotist
I've spent the last 12 years working with Equestrians and their horses up to an Olympian level.
I'm a licensed mental health professional in Germany, but not in the State of Texas.
Originally from Germany, with some important years of my childhood in Texas (yep, I've got that Southern charm and the German discipline!), I've made it my mission to help equestrians conquer their mental hurdles and reach new heights in their sports careers. I've been a horse girl all my life and riding has been my biggest passion.
My journey into this field wasn't exactly a straight shot. After a successful stint as a VP at Hannover Re, where I handled their US Program business, I decided to pursue my true passion: helping people through hypnosis and trauma therapy. It all started when I noticed how many athletes struggle after a tough injury, just like I did when I had to hang up my ballet shoes at 18 (cue the dramatic music!).
With a diploma in social sciences and a background in psychotherapy and certifications in hypnotherapy, equine assisted mental health, and trauma therapy, I've had the privilege of speaking at hypnosis conferences worldwide—from Las Vegas to Zurich and the typical big equestrian fairs in Germany.
Oh, and did I mention I'm also a published author? My books on mental toughness and better riding have been bestsellers in Germany, where I've been known to belt out a tune or two with local bands.
I also like to put my hand on horses when I treat them with equine osteopathy and physiotherapy.
I'm a centered riding instructor, but nowadays teach with my own method "Equihypnosis". I love iberian horses, so after dressage, jumping and a bit of reining, my riding style is typically classical baroque.
My approach is all about blending serious skills with a touch of humor (because let's face it, life's too short not to laugh!). Whether you're dealing with riding fears, or just need a confidence boost, I'm here to fine-tune your mental game and help you kick some serious sports butt. As I love horses, I find the most efficient way to help them is by helping their human.
So, if you're ready to crush those mental blocks and unleash your full potential, let's make your dreams a reality, together.
Due to the sensitive nature of my work, I value my clients' privacy. Here I only show their first name and their occupation.
Sandra, Dressage trainer and Grand prix rider
Nicole is very personable and competent. She helped me with a lot of patience, friendliness and competence and was available outside of our sessions by phone for any questions or when I needed a boost before a game. Through our work I have been able to achieve extremely high, self-imposed goals in Tennis. Highly recommend her.
